A Target Market Determination (TMD) is a document which describes who a product is appropriate for (target market), and conditions around how the product can be distributed to customers in the target market.

Alpha Companies (trading as Intrinsic Finance) is required to have TMDs that meet the requirements of the Treasury Laws Amendment (Design and Distribution Obligations and Product Intervention Powers) Act 2019 in respect to its consumer loan products and publish them on its website.

The TMD’s also describes the events or circumstances where we may need to review the TMD for our consumer loan products to ensure that we are taking a consumer-centric approach to the design and distribution of our consumer loan products.
